Dr Mace and Sonya continue to provide excellent care. They are kind, supportive, knowledgeable, and well skilled. The office staff are very efficient and nice to work with. 12/7/2022 I had developed a complex issue. Dr Mace was able to sort it out and advise treatment. He is very astute and kind.

I respect and appreciate Dr. Mace and Betty for the work they do. Dr. Mace is incredible. However, the ladies at the front desk are despicable. They ALWAYS HAVE BEEN. (Not sure why other reviews praise them, those front-desk ladies must pick and choose who they want to be nice too). I've been going to Dr. Mace for about 9 years since I moved to KC. Dr. Mace has done SO much work on me that it is hard for me to imagine starting at a new dental practice. Not once did I fall behind on paying their bills until about a year ago or so when I was in between jobs (COVID, anyone?) and got sent to collections. I paid that bill. Today I called the office to schedule an appointment and got told that they do not schedule patients again when they have been sent to collections. How heartless? That it is "office policy" but they do not even have that in writing. I asked them to send me an email with their office policy but got told they couldn't because it is not in writing. It's unfortunate that great dentists lose patients that they've been seeing for years because of their awful front-desk staff and random as-hell "policies." If you want to put up with moody front-desk staff, by all means, go here. Dr. Mace is worth it, which is why I put with them for years. Otherwise, I am sure there are plenty more incredible dentists with equally great and nice staff in KC. (Make sure you ask for a copy of their "office policies.")

I have been a long time patient of Dr Maces and come in regularly for checkups and cleanings. Dr. Mace and his staff are always very friendly, attentive, and do an excellent job. I have already scheduled my next appointment.
