Cosmetic Dentistry

westport plaza dentalBonding can close spaces between teeth, lengthen small or misshapen teeth, or whiten stained or dark teeth. We can shape and color a single tooth or improve your entire smile. When teeth are chipped or beginning to wear, bonding can protect them from damage and restore their original look. Bonding is done with composite resin.

Veneers are a thin shell of porcelain or plastic that is bonded to a tooth to improve its color and shape. A veneer generally covers only the front and top of a tooth. Veneers can be used to close spaces between teeth, or whiten stained teeth. When teeth are chipped or beginning to wear, veneers can protect them from damage and restore their original appearance. Veneers are made outside the mouth and then fitted and bonded.

Inlays and Onlays are indirect porcelain restorations made outside the mouth and then fitted and bonded to the tooth. We’ll choose between an inlay and an onlay depending on how much of your tooth structure has been lost. An inlay fits within the grooves of the tooth’s biting surface, like a filling, while an onlay also covers one or more cusps. Both restorations can be done in one day with CEREC CAD/CAM technology.

Teeth Whitening is a process that virtually erases stains and brightens teeth without damaging tooth enamel or your gums. We prescribe a home whitening system that will safely lighten these stains, giving you a whiter brighter smile. A specially formulated whitening gel, designed to be highly effective, yet safe, gently forces oxygen through the enamel of your teeth without damaging your tooth, your tooth enamel or gums.

Invisalign is the modern way to straighten teeth, using a series of custom-made, nearly invisible aligners. And it has been proven effective in both clinical research and in dental practices worldwide. So whether your teeth are crowded, too far apart, or have shifted since wearing braces, you can have a new reason to smile. Upon initial examination, Dr. Morgan can advise if Invisalign is right for you. See Invisalign CAD/CAM in technology for details.
